Thoughts of Persona 4 Arena

P4U Arrange Soundtrack EU Cover
Even when i am one of the sooo many europeans that had to wait for this game to release 9 month later than the US i am still happy that it did came here.
Now i could be mad and not buy the game as a response to the late release but that won't do me any good and won't do the creators and publisher any good as well.
My way to show to them that they should release their games faster is to show how much i want there games.
But enough about that.

What are my thoughts of the game?
Well there are really positive although there are still a few things i think that should have been done different.
The Training mode is probably one of the best things in this game.
Since it is a great way for new players to this genre or more familiar to understand the basic's of this fighter.
Also this is great way to get the feel of the controls.
But one thing about the controls could be startling to players is that the controls are described as like this,  =
And always shown with the P4U controls instead the PS3 controls.
its understandable they did it since it originally an arcade game but it can still be confusing.

The Story mode is fun if you like long dialogs and sometimes battle.
And is probably the best mode if you want to experience the story of the game as the name already implies.
And if you are a Persona fan and want just the story luckily the game option can changed.
This way the AI acts like noobs so that you can quickly Slam your self through and enjoy the story.

But if you are here for some real battles and just want to quickly get a bit of story the arcade mode is your spot.
Short story and much battles.
And it is a better mode if you want to get the hang of the controls.

But there is you thing i am sad about in the Story overall.
I hoped that the story would be more on one line.
But to my disappointment each character's story is different from the other.
Making it feel like all the bad story's used in other Fighters.
Although this is not completely true.
The main red line in the story is the same for all only a few things change depending the character you choose.
And the Ending is almost the same.
Also with an open ending the game leaves space for another P4U game or maybe the next story of P5.
let's hope the will do any of the two
Since i want to know the rest of the story.

The versus and online modes are for the fighters among us.
And its fun fighting other players.
Its probably the best thing to do if you are really in to the Fighting system.
But thats kind of obvious.
I praise one thing in this game and thats the Fighting system.
Its fast and has many combo to use but not making them too difficult to use in the heat of battle.
The defending can wierd but easy since you only need to press the back button or move analog stick away from the opponent.
Fighting can be easy, only not going to panic and button bass is kind of hard wen in the heat of battle.
I love how i can perform follow up attack with a Persona by repeatedly pressing the persona moves.
Examples; Izanagi, Thanatos or Konohana Sakuya.

Besides that, the main thing i praise is the music.
I love Persona music so much that i actually listen to it on my Android Phone or Macbook.
Which looks weird since most of my music is Metal music.
The P4U music great.
The Original Soundtrack Super for those that want enjoy the Music used in the game.
Which can also be found in the game onder Gallery.
My personal favorite is The Wandering Wolf.
This song i also found in the Arranged OST that came with the game as remix.
Small fun fact, the Arranged OST has a diffrent covers depending the country.

As always thx for reading.
And if everything goes oke i will have some of my battles on YouTube which i will also post here in a new Blogpost.
